So today was a bit of the same ole thing. Cleaned up around the house. Did a few loads of laundry. Cooked well you know the basic stuff lol. Dylon was such the lil' helper today. He seems to think that it is officially HIS job to hand me the clean dishes outta the dishwasher now. If I even try to do it myself he has a cow lol. Such a good lil' helper I have! I entered another scrap challenge today. This one was to redo our very 1st scrap page. We had to keep the same pics & same journalin' on it. So this is what I entered: (Don't laugh it was my 1st):

♥A Long Sigh...

Whew ok so that meetin' hubs' had today went better than what everyone thought it was goin' to. They didn't lay off anyone which was GREAT! They said they don't look to be layin' off ppl anytime soon but with the ever worsenin' economy it could happen further down the road. Who knows what the future holds a month or so down the road right?! They mainly just went over no more overtime, for them to watch their hours, watch how much they are spendin', & threw around some ideas to help better their situation that would benefit all the employees. Hubs' says he's super relieved for a bit & to be honest so am I! I did a gooberfied thing lastnight. I bit a lil over halfway into my tounge. Won't go into details on how I did cause I feel dumb enough lol. So needless to say I am on a liquid & soft food diet for 4days to give it some time to heal up...oh joy NOT! Hubs was a sweetie though tonight & made his yummy strawberry cheesecake & it was soft enough I could eat it...not like I really need it though. So I joined cafemom.com a few days ago & I must say I am likin' it so far. I did a scrap for the newbie challenge in one of the groups I joined. It is kinda like a gettin' to know you type of thing. So here is mine:

♥Here We Go Again With The Worries...

My goodness there are ALL kinds of rumors goin' around about what hubs' company meetin' is for tomorrow. Some ppl say it's to lay off ppl. Some say it's to talk about no more overtime. Some say it's to tell them all to start watchin' what they spend & some say it's about all of that combined. Who knows?! My Uncle that works for the company (he brings business in for them) is headed to Texas to try to get more business since that state is boomin' in the oil field dept. So hopefully he can but that means seein' less of my hubby :(. The kids & I miss him like crazy when he's gone. But I have to look on the bright side (granted he doesn't get laid off tomorrow) at least he'll still have a job hopefully.

♥Tired, Tired, & Oh Did I Mention Tired...

Today felt rather loooong. I think it had somethin' to do with the kids fightin' like cats & dogs ALL day long. So I played referee all day today. I am so glad they don't get like this often cause I think I would just literally pull my hair out lol. Got some cleanin' done in the middle of all of it so it wasn't a total loss. They were still goin' at it after supper so they both ended up goin' to bed 15mins early tonight. I rarely ever do that but man oh man my nerves just couldn't hack the constant bickerin' anymore. It makes me feel bad when I have to do that but luckily it's rare & us mommies gotta do what we gotta do right?! On another note I did manage to get a scrapbook page done tonight. Here it is:

♥He Still Has A Job YAY...

So they actually didn't lay off anyone today but they did lay off 3 ppl a few wks ago. Hubs says they all have to attend a meetin' at the shop this Sunday. It hasn't been said what this meetin' is for exactly. Sure hopein' they won't be layin' ppl off at that time. In other news we got a bit of snow lastnight while we all slept so we took the kids outside to try to build a snowman but the snow was just too dang powdery. It just wouldn't stick for nothin'. Dylon was a bit disappointed but had fun playin' in the snow anyways. Here are a few pics from today:

♥A Small Glimmer Of Hope Maybe...

Ok so hubs talked to one of the managers I guess u'd call him who talked to one of the upper bosses & he says that he "thinks" hubs is "safe" because he is an asset to the company. He knows every job type & he is one of the few that actually works instead of sittin' on his ass in the break room all day doin' nothin'. So fingers doubly crossed that he gets to keep his job. Hopein' tomorrow brings great news for him! Ugh which reminds me I have a drs appt tomorrow. I hate havin' health issues blah! Ok so I couldn't sleep for worryin' so dang much so I tinkered around with a new scrapbook page although I wasn't really "tryin'" to make one it just sorta happened lol. You be the judge :)!

♥Just Not Good At All...

Welp we found out today that the company hubs works for is downsizin' due to our economy crisis...6ppl are to be let go either tomorrow or Thursday. I seriously hope that his job is "safe". This all just has my stomach in aweful knots & my ulcer is actin' up on me a bit. "If" they let him go things will be tight around here for a while. You gotta do whatcha gotta do right?! Not only is his job in jeopardy but my dad's is too he also works there. The shop they have in another town axed my uncle today. This all really really sucks. I so feel for those that have already lost their jobs due to this mess we are in. Goodness I really hope things turn around for the better SOON! Meanwhile since things are just SO bad lookin' right now both hubs & myself have decided that I will stay on the pill for a little while longer till we know for 100% that things financially will be ok. This was a tough decision that has hurt us both but we know it's for the best for now. We are just bein' thankful that we got lucky enough to have 2 beautiful babies & not only that but one of each as well!

Ok so I am startin' this for my own sanity lol. I SO need a place to vent & whatnot. Perhaps have a new place to share my digi scraps at hehe! So I'ma gonna try really hard to blog every day if not that at least as often as I possibly can! With that said it's late & I am so outie for the night!
